LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (September 26, 2024) – The 2024 Minority Enterprise Development (MED) Week Awards, presented by Apptegy, celebrated the achievements of 12 outstanding minority business and community leaders. They were chosen from hundreds of nominees for their excellence and impact in their fields. The awards ceremony, presented by Bank of America, took place during a luncheon today at the Mariott Grand Ballroom.

Among the winners were Delta Dirt Distillery, a family-owned craft distillery in the Arkansas Delta who received the Legacy Award. American Indian Center of Arkansas was named Minority-Owned Nonprofit of 2024. Itzel Velazquez with Kiva Little Rock by Forge Fund won Outstanding Young Professional of 2024. Luck Be a Lady Rentals & Repairs took the Emerging Minority Business of 2024. People Trust Community Loan Fund was awarded Minority Regional Business of 2024.
