LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (September 15, 2023) – The 2023 Minority Enterprise Development (MED) Week, presented by Apptegy, celebrated the achievements of 12 outstanding minority business and community leaders. They were chosen from hundreds of nominees for their excellence and impact in their fields. The awards ceremony, presented by The Design Group, took place during a luncheon today at the Statehouse Convention Center.
Among the winners were K Hall & Sons Produce, a family-owned business on Wright Avenue since the 1970s, who received the 2023 Legacy Award. Kendra Pruitt, the Chief of Staff for Little Rock Mayor Frank Scott Jr., was named Minority Advocate of 2023. Mason Doyne with MD Doyne Construction won Outstanding Young Professional of 2023. River Mountain Eye Care took the Emerging Minority Business of 2023 award and Nelson Intelligence Solutions was awarded Minority Business of 2023.
