From the University of Arkansas Pulaski Technical College Community Education program, if you've ever had pot stickers (or Chinese dumplings), you know how delicious they are. In Chinese, it's called Jiaozi, and it is the traditional Chinese dish for the holidays. The magic happens when all the flavorful ingredients are tucked away in a delicate wrap, then cooked to perfection. Chef Joy will teach you everything you need to know about dumpling-making, from mixing different ingredients for the filling to making your own thin wraps. You will learn not only different ways of making, but also cooking your dumplings. And who knows? Directions & Location Info: This class will be held at the PTC CAHMI (Culinary Arts and Hospitality Management Institute), which is located at 13000 Interstate 30 Frontage Rd. If you are coming from downtown Little Rock heading west on I-30, OR if you are coming from West Little Rock heading south on I-430, take exit 128 toward Mabelvale W Rd W/Otter Creek Rd W/Bass Pro Pkwy S. You will pass the outlet shops, Bass Pro, and the Geyer Springs First Baptist Church. About 1 mile after the church, you will see the Culinary Institute on your right. It's a large school, but you're on a one-way road, so be careful not to miss it!
