I-30 Corridor Project

In April 2016, after many months of working with the Arkansas Department of Transportation (ArDOT), project engineers, architects, downtown Little Rock advocates, stakeholders, and a variety of chamber members, the Little Rock Regional Chamber Board of Directors endorsed one particular version of the "30 Crossing" plan - the "six lanes plus collector/distributor lanes with split-diamond interchange."

This configuration provides for a once-in-a-generation opportunity to reshape our downtown by removing approximately 15 acres of elevated concrete, berms, and barriers and replacing it with park land.  It has also been praised and endorsed by a number of downtown entities and advocates including the Downtown Little Rock Partnership, the Central Arkansas Library System, the Little Rock Convention and Visitors Bureau and the Little Rock Technology Park. Our endorsed configuration is now the preferred plan of ArDOT and is in the final approval stage before work can begin.
